The Director, Financial Strategic Business Services (Director, FSBS) will assist the CFO, and Directors of Finance SBU by overseeing and managing the HSC Health Care System strategic financial planning and business Intelligence functions. The Director, FSBS is responsible for the development and distribution of strategic business information and relationships which promote/support the organization’s strategic efforts and missions. He/she will work with the Finance Directors, Controller, CFO, COOs, EVP, and CEO on a variety of strategic planning and reporting projects and with Department Directors and Managers on routine data analysis needs.
Minimum Experience Requirement: Ten (10) or more years of financial management experience in or providing consultation to commercial business organizations. Technical/Functional expertise: Data Analysis/Business Intelligence, Strategic Planning, Strategic Contracting, Acquisition Strategy Execution, Contract Negotiation, Financial Management, Project Management. Current with knowledge of and experience in dealing with all aspects of integrated business models: Minimum of five (5) years in finance leadership role(s); Extensive experience in major customer contracting involving integrated commercial organization business models; Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills; Excellent oral, written and presentation skills; Proven ability to foster collaboration, value others’ perspective and gain support and buy-in for organization proposals; Proven ability to drive and lead an organization through significant change; Proven success in managing growth of business operations; Strong knowledge of strategic planning, data analytics, and management dashboard development. Ability to apply data and analytics to solve complex, impactful problems. Strong knowledge of business intelligence software and major enterprise systems.
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting required. Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Health Care Administration, or related field preferred.
