The Director Finance Managed Care will assist the Chief Financial Officer by overseeing and managing for the HSC Health Care System managed care service entities’ financial reporting, provider contracting, business analytics, and planning functions. The VP Finance will work side-by-side with the CFO and the Managed Care Services (COO) in all HSC Health Care System fiscal matters for managed care services.
Minimum Experience Requirement: Ten (10) or more years of health care financial management experience with managed care experience preferred. Technical/Functional expertise: Medicaid and Managed Care Organization operations, Data Analysis/Business Intelligence, Strategic Planning, Strategic Contracting, Contract Negotiation, Financial Management, Project Management. Current with knowledge of and experience in dealing with all aspects of integrated business models: Minimum of five (5) years in finance leadership role(s); Extensive experience in major customer contracting involving integrated commercial organization business models; Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills; Excellent oral, written and presentation skills; Proven ability to foster collaboration, value others’ perspective and gain support and buy-in for organization proposals; Proven ability to drive and lead an organization through significant change; Proven success in managing growth of business operations; A strong knowledge of strategic planning, data analytics, and management dashboard development. Ability to apply data and analytics to solve complex, impactful problems. Strong knowledge of business intelligence software and major enterprise systems.
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting required. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum Licensure Requirement: Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) preferred.
