The Oaks School is a thriving K-6 progressive school with just over 150 students located in the heart of Hollywood, California. The Oaks’ educational philosophy is founded on the belief that the school creates the best learning opportunities when children are able to share in the responsibility of their own education, and when they feel safe to take risks, make mistakes, and master skills. Curriculum at The Oaks educates the whole child. Through project-based learning, students are encouraged to explore, challenge, and interpret the world around them. The Oaks is fully accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools.
