The Executive director (ED) of the Master of Science in Mathematical Finance (MSMF) program is a quantitative finance specialist with dual knowledge of the academics and industry of quantitative finance. S/he leverages this knowledge to set strategies for admissions, student recruitment, and student placement. This involves deciding where and how to prospect for MSMF program applicants as well as identifying expanding markets for graduating students. S/he serves as an informed bridge between the academic program and the world of practice, enabling trusted and credible relationships that yield student internships and placement and build brand equity in the program. The ED reports to the Faculty Director (FD) of the Math Finance program. S/he also maintains a close working relationship with the Questrom Admissions and Feld Center staff attached to the MSMF program, including the MSMF Assistant Director and the MSMF Career Development Manager. The ED is a member of the Math Finance PDC. The ED (as well as the Faculty Director) represents the MSMF program and the Math Finance PDC in Questrom leadership discussions and special committees.
