Concord Academy is looking for a service-oriented and technology savvy individual to ensure the smooth functioning of the finance office. A proven track record of coordination of administration duties and office procedures is essential. The finance office is a small team requiring a versatile individual who has experience in human resources, payroll, and accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate is supremely organized, efficient, and is a great team player, while also being able to work on and complete tasks independently. This role will create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. This is a critical role for the successful operation of the school community.
High school diploma required. Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3 – 5 years’ of office administrator experience.
Intermediate Excel and MS Office software proficiency.
Familiar with databases, student information, human resources and finance databases preferred.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Advanced communication skills (verbal, written, electronic) and superior phone skills.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Superb organizational skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others.
Enthusiasm for working in an independent school setting and desire to embrace the school mission and values.
A high level of integrity, honesty, and a strong work ethic.

Able to traverse the CA campus including climbing stairs.
