Management Associates Program Description: Management Associate Program (MAP) was launched over 15 years ago with the aim of building a pipeline of future leaders by attracting and developing diverse, top-tier MBA talent. This 18-month comprehensive and competitive development rotational program prepares Associates for management-level accountabilities. During the three 6-month rotations, Associates are given a unique opportunity to work across Thomson Reuters’ business units that provide products and critical information for finance, legal, and tax & accounting professionals around the world, along with the chance to gain experience with a globally recognized news agency.
The MAP has 2 distinct tracks: 1) Finance Track: for individuals looking to pursue a long-term career as an internal finance professional. The on-program experience will include 3 distinct rotations (in any order) including: a core corporate rotation; an FP&A rotation (corporate or within a business unit); and a business partnership rotation within a business unit/function (e.g. operations, commercial policy, sales strategy, etc.) 2) Strategy Track: for individuals looking to pursue a career executing at 3 levels of strategy – corporate, product or proposition (business unit or corporate level) and business enablement/operations.
For the MBA Class of 2018, we are planning to hire 1 or 3 individuals for our Finance Track only (i.e. Strategy Track positions are not available for full-time). Your base location and rotation locations could be any of the following: NY Tri-State area (New York City, Hoboken or Stamford), Toronto (CAN), Carrollton (TX), Eagan (MN).
