Our Finance Leadership Development Program offers high caliber professionals two years of exposure to global finance leadership, skill-building across critical finance functions and opportunities to work on high-visibility, high-impact projects through an assignment in AECOM’s Audit Services Group. During this time you will receive training in audit services, finance operations and leadership development. During the second year of your assignment you will receive in-depth exposure to various finance areas including financial planning and analysis, operational finance, controllership, treasury and tax through project assignments. Following completion of two years in audit services as a global finance associate, you’ll be placed in a corporate or global finance function, such as treasury, financial planning and analysis or controllership. Here you’ll take on a full-time finance manager role that further builds your skills and strengths in areas of interest to you.
During your two years with the Audit Services Group your duties will include:
Ensure that operations are in compliance with company standards, policies and procedures, including effective risk identification and mitigation, government regulations and generally accepted accounting principles.
Lead complex reviews and special projects, including SOX 404 control testing and operational audits involving information technology and financial management.
Perform ?nancial, process and strategic business analysis.
Ensure timely completion of work and maintenance of established performance standards.
Develop internal communications and deliver presentation content.
Develop reports and presentations for key strategic initiatives.
Contribute to team discussions and share insights.
Perform ad-hoc strategic and financial analyses and research assignments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
3-5 years of experience with a major public accounting firm or AECOM’s finance department with consistent recognition as a strong performer.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
Significant enthusiasm for the industries in which we do business and the AECOM brand.
Strong executive presence with outstanding oral communication, written and presentation skills.
Employs an analytical approach to solving problems with a high attention to details.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and agility.
Resourceful self-starter with demonstrated initiative to independently own work streams from start to finish.
Contributes to forward-looking solutions in a team environment to address diverse problems.
High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Ability to travel 25-30% of the time, both domestic and international.
Willing to relocate globally upon successful completion of the two-year program.
CPA or CPA candidate preferred
This position can be based at several locations throughout the U.S. including: Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Phoenix, Denver, New York City, Miami, Richmond and Boston. Relocation assistance or sponsorship will not be provided.
