Advertised Summary Job Description: Reporting to the Director, Budget and Finance, and the Department Administrator/CFO, this position will assist with the management of the annual budget submission process, as well as the financial reporting, for the Department of Pediatrics. Assists with general office operations, other related duties as assigned.
?Coordinate the creation and update of division's annual budget templates. ?Oversee budget submissions in the Budget Tool for the Department. ?Conduct budget reconciliation to ensure accuracy. ?Assist with annual budget related questions from Divisions. ?Capture and convert system wide data into actionable business intelligence to assist senior leadership with strategic, functional and operational decision making. ?Report, analyze and interpret financial data for senior leadership. ?Work with Division Administrators to draft Fair Market Value Analyses, and business plans for the recruitment of new physicians. ?Completes monthly revenue, expense, productivity and statistical variance and root cause analysis to identify underlying factors causing variance against established targets. ?Develop and monitor provider clinical performance metrics and trends. ?Generate periodic financial and statistical reports as needed to support modeling of new divisional growth. ?Supervise, train and coach 1 FTE - Financial Analyst. ?Assumes supervisory and other functions in absence of the Director, Budget and Finance.
General Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus four years of related experience.
Additional Specific Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications: Excellent written and oral communication; Must have strong organization skills/accounting.
Experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
